President's Message
Hola FCHCC Members and Supporters: October was a month of dreams come true! We awarded 16 scholarships valued at $2,500 at the 2015 Achieving the Dream Scholarship Awards Luncheon and Hispanic Heritage Celebration. It was a successful event and very inspiring to watch our current and future Hispanic leaders come together. Many thanks to all who participated and made it possible to help such talent achieve their dreams of a college education. Special thanks to the Grainger Foundation for presenting a check that will allow four students achieve their dreams in 2016. Click here to donate to the scholarship fund and help others achieve their dreams. There was also a Professional Networking Event (PNE) at The Grotto Wine and Tapas Bar. November's PNE will take place on November 18, 2015 at the Aloft Hotel. Also, mark your calendars for a special treat on December 10, 2015 where The Honorable Carlos Lopez-Cantera, our Lieutenant Governor, will be the guest speaker at the Business Luncheon. Sign up for our mailing list so that you can receive an invitation. I look forward to seeing everyone there! As we celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, I am very thankful for each and every one of you and the support you have given to the Hispanic business community. I wish you a blessed gathering and feast with your loved ones. Remember those who do not have someone to celebrate with and families who are less fortunate.
