Cesar Javier Grijota, born in Cadiz, Spain in 1983 has been a proud Jacksonville resident since first arriving to the United States in 1991. Locally educated at Florida State College of Jacksonville, Cesar was able to obtain his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
Over the past 12 years, Cesar has proudly represented VyStar Credit Union, a Non-profit Cooperative serving 29 counties across Northeast Florida, where he currently serves as the Vice President of their Kernan Branch. As this relationship has blossomed, Cesar was given the opportunity to serve as a committee volunteer of the First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in late 2011. He has served on and chaired several committees since then and has maintained a keen focus on serving his community anyway that he can. Cesar has a profound passion for helping people instilled by his upbringing and highlighted by his Credit Union background and he is equally passionate about serving to promote the success of Hispanic professionals and Hispanic-owned businesses in Jacksonville.
In 2017, Cesar was elected to serve as President & CEO of the First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce where he proudly serves today.
