AT&T Florida Donates $15,000 to the First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Achieving the Dream Scholarship Program

April 8, 2021 – JACKSONVILLE, FL  – The First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce extends its most sincere appreciation and gratitude to AT&T for their support in helping Hispanic students achieve their dreams of a college education by funding a $15,000 grant to be used specifically for the Achieving the Dream scholarships.

AT&T has been a supporter of education with the Chamber and is committed to supporting the Hispanic community.

Applications for the 2021 Scholarship Period opened February 1 with the awards ceremony taking place in October. The 2021 Achieving the Dream Scholarships awards will be distributed at the Annual Hispanic Heritage Gala to be held in the Fall. Applications can be completed at: fchcc.com/scholarship, and must be submitted by May 15, 2021, along with all required documents.

The scholarship program awards students who work hard and achieve academic excellence to start or continue their education. FCHCC Community Development Fund awards these scholarships based on primary criteria and academics (minimum GPA 3.0). The remaining points are assessed based on a finalist interview, letters of recommendation, essays, extracurricular activities, community involvement and honors/awards.

Contributions to the scholarship fund can also be made online.
