WHAT: The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (FCHCC) will host its annual Excellence in Business Awards Talentos Hispanos on December 13, 2024  from 6 PM – 10 PM at WJCT Studios, 100 Festival Park Avenue, Jacksonville FL 32202.

FCHCC’s Annual Excellence in Business Awards Ceremony, initiated in 2016 and continued in 2019 and in 2022. The ceremony is among the Hispanic Chamber’s signature events, for successful leaders who have exhibited an outstanding job performance in their industries and the community. A panel of judges will select and award nominees’ recognition in the following six (6) categories:

1. Rising Star Award. Presented to the individual candidate who demonstrated growth and excelled in his or her field of professional accomplishments and community involvement impacting the area that the FCHCC serves. The candidate should be under 35 years of age and have 5 years of their chosen profession.
2. Up & Coming Business Award. Presented to a business with less than five (5) years established, with stable financial growth, and a strong commitment to supporting the Hispanic Community.
3. Business Leader of the Year. This award is recognizing an individual in the area served by FCHCC for having made professional and community-based impact through business endeavors and personal commitment in the Hispanic Community. Nominees must be a corporate executive or owner, partner, or shareholder of at least 25% of the business.
4. Small Business of the Year. Small Business that has made a professional and community-based impact through business activities within the Hispanic community. Business should have less than one hundred employees and have been an active business for more than five (5) years.
5. Corporate Business of the Year. Corporate entity that has made both a professional and community-based impact through business endeavors in the Hispanic Community. It should employ 100 + personnel and have evident stability and growth.
6. Woman in Business Award. This award is presented to a woman in a small and medium business who has demonstrated great results in her own business. It recognizes women who are helping create a legacy at their family-owned business or company.

The Keynote Speaker will be Congressman John Rutherford with Special Guest City Council Member District 11, Mr. Raul Arias. Entertainment will be provided by Rumba Knights Entertainment and Chic Booth. Bacardi will provide beverages. Attendees will enjoy:

For Immediate Release: June 22, 2022 – JACKSONVILLE, FL  – The First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (FCHCC) held their 3rd Excellence in Business Awards Breakfast to recognize leaders in the Hispanic community and celebrate their accomplishments. On Tuesday, June 21, 2022, the Marriott Sawgrass Golf Resort & Spa was filled with key influencers in the community.

The 2022 Excellence in Business Awards Winners are as follows:

Nominations opened March 3^rd and closed May 15^th. Judges will be awarding candidates in the following six (6) categories:

1. Rising Star Award. This award is presented to the individual candidate that is growing and rising in his or her field that use professional accomplishments and community involvement to impact the area that the FCHCC serves. 5. Corporate Business of the Year. This award is presented to the corporate entity that has made both a professional and community-based impact through business endeavors in the Hispanic Community. This business employs 100 + employees and shows business stability and growth.
6. Woman in Business Award. This award is presented to a woman in a small and medium business who has demonstrated great results in her own business. It recognizes women who are helping create a legacy at their family-owned business or company.

Para publicación inmediata: 17 de mayo de 2022 – JACKSONVILLE, FL – La Cámara de Comercio Hispana de la Primera Costa (FCCHC) será anfitrión del evento Premios a la Excelencia en los Negocios. La ceremonia de entrega de premios será el 21 de junio de 2022 de 8 a. m. a 10 a. m. en el Marriott Sawgrass Golf Resort & Spa.

El proceso de someter nominaciones comenzó el 3 de marzo y concluyó el 15 de mayo. Los jueces estarán seleccionando los candidatos a recibir el Galardón en las siguientes seis (6) categorías.

1. Rising Star Award. Premio adjudicado al candidato de mayor crecimiento y ascendencia en su campo. Deberán ser menores de 35 años y estar en los primeros 5 años en su profesión. Debe haber sido reconocido por sus logros profesionales y el impacto de su participación en la comunidad en el área que FCHCC sirve.
2. Up & Coming Business Award. Premio presentado a una empresa con menos de 5 años de existencia que muestre un crecimiento financiero estable y un firme compromiso de apoyar a la Comunidad Hispana de Negocios.

Business Leader of the Year. Premio otorgado a una persona empresarial en el área que sirve la FCHCC; y haber impactado tanto profesional como en la comunidad a través de esfuerzos comerciales y compromiso personal con la Comunidad Hispana. Los nominados deben ser los dueños o ejecutivos corporativos, socio o accionista con no menos del 25% del negocio.
4. Small Business of the Year. Premio otorgado a pequeños negocios que hayan tenido un impacto profesional y comunitario a través de emprendimientos comerciales en la Comunidad Hispana. El negocio debe tener menos de 100 empleados y llevar más de 5 años establecido.

6. Women in Business Award. Premio otorgado a una mujer en pequeña o mediana empresa que ha demostrado resultados significativos en su negocio propio. Reconoce a las mujeres que están ayudando a crear un legado en su empresa o negocio familiar.

La Ceremonia de Premios a la Excelencia en los Negocios de La FCHCC es uno de los eventos insigne anual de la Cámara; identifica líderes exitosos que exhibieron un trabajo sobresaliente en sus industrias y han sido reconocidos por la comunidad.
