]]> The Jacksonville Public Library is requesting local history profiles from notable residents and community leaders in Jacksonville. They’re hoping to include biographies of those of you in the Voces de Hispanos group to ensure Hispanic voices are represented in their digital collections. 

About Biographical Sketches: In the 1940s, the Jacksonville Public Library mailed biographical questionnaires to notable Jacksonville residents and community leaders. Now, 80 years later, these questionnaires serve as valuable primary resources for local history and genealogy research. They can be found by searching “local history profile” in the library catalog.
