Mario Medina Hernández

Mario Medina Hernandez Mario Medina Hernández is the first Hispanic to reach the distinction as an Executive Council Agent with New York Life Insurance Company in Jacksonville, Florida. He has built a business, a family, and a new life like many Puerto Ricans and Latin Americans have in the state of Florida. With 17 years of experience in the banking industry, Mario found the time to make his own history in his homeland Puerto Rico as a successful singer and songwriter. Today he performs as a tenor on the Heritage Singers of Jacksonville on his spare time. 

In Jacksonville, his mission is to build relationships everyday with business owners and families interested in building a legacy. He is also a liaison for the Hispanic community on local media sharing ideas about the importance of being properly protected and saving money efficiently, based on a process and not on a product; As well as providing community services with New York Life's Child ID program and being an advocate creating awareness on safety for our children. 2017 HISPANIC HERITAGE GALA & ACHIEVING THE DREAM SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
THE STUDENTS ARE THE
STARS!

Mark your calendars! On Friday, September 29, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, FCHCC is hosting our 2017 Hispanic Heritage Gala & Achieving the Dream Scholarship Awards. This year we are rolling out the red carpet for an "Academy Awards" themed show that you will not want to miss. The scholarship recipients will truly be our stars for the evening! The event will include activities such as:
 
Cocktail reception from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Buffet Meal
Comedy Performance
Recognition and Awards
Live Band
Dancing
Photo Booth
 
We will be recognizing our Achieving the Dream Scholarship Award winners this evening. Also, during our program we will be recognizing the FCHCC Large/Corporate Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, and Member of the Year. Voting for these awards will open on our website soon.  
 
The event will be held at the WJCT Studios, 100 Festival Park Avenue, in downtown Jacksonville. Keep an eye out for more details via email and our social media channels. Tickets and sponsorship packages are coming soon.
