Keynote Speaker
Andy Del Rosal
Vice President of Product Innovation & Liquid Quality, Bacardi
Andy Del Rosal serves as Bacardi’s Vice President of Product Innovation & Liquid Quality. Based in Jacksonville, Florida, he has been with Bacardi since 1994, with a brief hiatus at Cargill and Pernod-Ricard. In 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, a shortage of hand sanitizer came about. Andy led the team to negotiate between the Spirits industry and Dr. Robert Califf, head of the FDA.
He facilitated the Spirits industry’s ability to legally create hand sanitizer for first responders in Florida and Jacksonville. But Andy’s work didn’t stop there. Knowing the lack of hand sanitizer existed worldwide, he also led Bacardi’s global effort to create hand sanitizer at Bacardi’s various facilities around the world to also provide it to local first responders.
