Nelson Hernandez is a professional with nearly seven years of experience in the financial services industry. Originally from Miami, FL, Nelson moved to Jacksonville to attend the University of North Florida, where he graduated with dual degrees in Finance and Marketing, with Summa Cum Laude honors. Since then, Nelson first started his career working in sales for a local business where he first become involved with FCHCC.
Later, he transition to work in the financial services industry, where he obtained his Series 7, 66, 9, and 10. While working in financial services, Nelson continued to stay involved with the FCHCC by assisting with the Achieving the Dream committee via fundraising, helping coordinate with vendors, and assisting with operations of the gala along with the rest of the committee. In his spare time, Nelson enjoys working out, watching sports, video games and traveling. Nelson has also obtained his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Miami. He is of Cuban and Nicaraguan descent.
