The First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in partnership with UNF, Coggin College of Business and support from Prudential Insurance Co. launched a Hispanic Student Business club in the month of August. The club aims to help UNF Hispanic students focus on and advance their business acumen and professional development.

Jose Barrientos Restrepo and Giovanni Medina were selected as Interns by FCHCC to organize and kick off the club. The students feel strongly that their tie to the Chamber will help them recruit business conscience students. The club is still forming and is in recruiting mode. Once established, club members will institute its leadership team and start working on goals and projects that see as a priority for its members. Prudential Insurance Company joined in the partnership by offering financial support during the clubs first year.
