On April 29, 2025, the First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Hosted its Annual Hola Emprende – Duval Conference 2025. This is the 3rd iteration of this incredibly successful event. This year’s conference was held at Deerwood Castle, 7601 Centurion Pkwy, Jacksonville, FL 32256. The event was attended by over 100 participants.
The full day conference hosted workshops and panel discussions to lender matchmaking and networking—there was so much value packed into one day and the classes were conducted in Spanish and English.
The speakers were: Jonel Hein (U.S. SBA), Gregory Grant (JSEB), Nick Correa (Bank of America), and powerhouse business owners Rebecca Gonzalez (1928 Cuban Bistro), Helga Langthon (SoHo Network Solutions) and Oliver Mosqueda (Guanabana Jax)—all of whom poured into our community with knowledge, stories and heart.
Our Better Money Habits Champions from Bank of America provided financial education in Spanish. And, our keynote speaker Alex Avellanet (FIFA Sports Agent) opened our eyes to global opportunities in sports business.
We are thankful for the support by the City of Jacksonville and Bank of America! Our dedicated FCHCC support staff team worked diligently behind the scenes, to ensure this event would be a success; we couldn’t have achieved this without their efforts!
