Virginia College Sponsors the 2017 Hispanic Heritage Gala and Achieving the Dream Scholarship Awards

June 27, 2017 – JACKSONVILLE, FL – June 26, 2017 (Jacksonville, FL) The 2nd Annual Hispanic Heritage Gala and Achieving the Dream Scholarship Awards presented by Virginia College in Jacksonville will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017, at the WJCT Studios, 100 Festival Park Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32202. The event is from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm hosted by the First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Community Development Inc. (FCHCC).

The 2017 scholarship recipients will be honored red carpet style at this year’s gala. Attendees can anticipate a night of live music, dancing, silent auction, red carpet, and more. FCHCC Hispanic Heritage Gala and Achieving the Dream Scholarship Awards recognize the outstanding achievements of Hispanic students and celebrate the rich heritage of the Hispanic community. The FCHCC will be awarding $20,000 in college scholarships to these deserving students. Florida Blue, Norsan Media and iHeart Media, all which are FCHCC Strategic Partner Trustees, will also be present at the event.
