The 2023 Hispanic Voces: New Stories to Tell Traveling Exhibit is now displaying in the Florida Capitol Building in Tallahassee, Florida. The exhibit began Monday, October 16 and will go through Friday, October 20, 2023. The First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (FCHCC) and Voces Hispanas created a travel museum quality exhibit honoring 16 Hispanic leaders of Northeast Florida who have made significant contributions to the Hispanic community over the past several decades.

This exhibit brings the vision of Voces Hispanas FounderDr. Rebecca Dominguez-Karimi to life as it highlights culture, people in art, business and the community. The exhibit was curated and designed by MiAddvantage and is sponsored and supported by FCHCC.

The Exhibit features these Honorees:

Ing. Clark Vargas, P.E., Wilfredo (Willie) Gonzalez, Tomas Jimenez, Sr., Andres Gallo, Indira Moran, Dr. Norberto Benitez, Ken Amaro, Ann Browning-Masters, Ph.D., Judith Rodriguez, Derby Ulloa, Jorge Lopez, Jorge Peña, Andres del Rosal, Constanza López Baquero, Ed Perez and Jose “Pepe” Perez

About the Project: Hispanic Voces seeks to expand the scope of Hispanics represented. The goal is to interview at least 100 more Hispanics from the greater five county areas. All Hispanic communities in Northeast Florida are invited to participate, from long term Minorcans or Floridanos to newcomers to hear the stories about how Hispanics arrived here in Northeast Florida. FCHCC is proud to partner with Dr. Rebecca Karimi, Oral Historian for the 2023 Voices de Hispanos.
