Discover Duval Schools tours are a joint partnership between Duval County Public Schools and the Jacksonville Public Education Fund. The goal of Discover Duval is to increase the understanding of the diverse and high-quality academic offerings in the district. Don’t miss out on three remaining Discover Duval School tours this academic school year.
On May 13th, we invited the community to tour Southside Middle School where visitors had the opportunity to witness the high standards that Principal, Zeina Spaulidng and her administration has for students.
Highlights of the tour were:
- Interacting with school staff including leadership and teachers
- New Comer Program (English Language Learners)
- STEM Lab
- Pre-Early College Program
- The “Band of Gold,” Marching Band
- Volunteer and partnership opportunities
